On December 31, 2014, I celebrated the New Year by photographing Joe & Carly's wedding in Denver, Colorado. It was freezing--there was loads of snow on the ground, and Denver had seen historic lows. I finished shooting around 12:30AM, and, through a series of ridiculous events, ended up at my hotel around 2:30AM. I showered, packed, and set my alarm--by that time, it was almost 3:30AM. I slept about 45 minutes before getting back up to leave Denver, and catch a quick flight to San Francisco.
I viewed the dawn of 2015 by flight; and began my year with a Day in the Life session in San Francisco. (Where, I'd like to add, it was in the 60s). On the first day of the year, I flew to a city I had never been, and saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time.
This year has been one of incredible personal growth, through near-constant life lessons. My eyes were opened to what feels like a bajillion new feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Throughout it all, I was able to connect with wonderfully beautiful human beings who only enhanced my year.
These are a few of my personal favorite images from the year.
While I certainly enjoyed the beauty that 2015 brought, I am most definitely looking forward to what 2016 has to offer. I know it's going to be wonderful!
The most sincere THANK YOU to each and every one of you who made this year what it was for me. I am forever grateful to the people who believe in me, trust me, and keep coming back.
Happy Holidays, friends!
